Eight months jail for fourth OMVI

A 36-year-old Platteville man was sentenced to eight months in jail on fourth-offense drunk driving and bail jumping charges.

Bradley D. Kieler, 29700 Center Dr., was arrested for drunk driving Aug. 2, and then was charged with misdemeanor bail jumping May 15, according to court records. He pleaded no contest to the charges in Iowa County Circuit Court in Dodgeville June 5.

Kieler was sentenced to 245 days in jail on the drunk driving charge and 30 days jail on the bail jumping charge, served concurrently. He had his driver’s license revoked for three years, and will be required to use an ignition interlock for three years after he gets an occupational driver’s license. He was fined $1,559 on the drunk driving charge and $243 on the bail jumping charge.
