Independence Day began with the Tri-State Truck & Tractor Pullers truck and tractor pull at Legion Field July 3. Diesel-powered tractors produced the most smoke upon acceleration, but gas-powered trucks produced sound you could feel. Results can be found at http://tristatepullers.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/2012-Platteville-Distance.xlsx. The club will have a tractor pull in Lancaster Aug. 17.
