SHULLSBURG – Benton/Shullsburg's dreams of raising the regional championship trophy were dashed in extra innings as the #2-seeded Mineral Point Pointers came up with the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning and held on to knock off the top-seeded and #2-ranked Zephyrs-Miners, 5-4, in a WIAA Division 3 regional final baseball game held at Badger Park on Thursday, May 31.
