Before and After…

Last Sunday, downtown Richland Center was a busy place. About 20 people – adults and kids – met up at 9:00 a.m. and worked until exactly 5:00 p.m., volunteering their time and effort to spruce up two downtown business storefronts, as well as some yard work on side streets.

New owners bring Fennimore landmark back

It's been just under a year since the Hilltop Tavern closed its doors. The tavern was an institution, having been open for 67 years when owner Lloyd Tarrell turned the key to lock the doors one final time. Now, that door is set to re-open at the end of the month when Corrina Friederick and Scot Lang welcome customers back.

Wind Farm holds a dedication and ribbon cutting

DARLINGTON – A dedication for the Quilt Block Wind Farm (QBWF) took place at the Darlington Country Club in Friday, Nov. 10 at 11:00 a.m. The dedication was put on by Dairyland Power Cooperative and EDP Renewables North America. Approximately 80 attendees were served lunch, listened to speeches and held a ribbon cutting ceremony.
