POSTED August 31, 2017 12:04 p.m.

Tucked away in the rolling hills between Eastman and Wauzeka, off of a lonesome winding country road, you’ll find the Kickapoo Indian Caverns.

The historic underground catacombs have been added to the roster of properties that will remain forever-undeveloped thanks to the work of the Mississippi Valley Conservancy, which closed the deal on the 83-acre property last Friday.

For the complete story please see the Aug. 31 issue of the Boscobel Dial.
