Dr. Frank and Marcene Eshelman celebrated 60 years of marriage on Aug. 21. They were married in Freeport, Ill., on Aug. 21, 1953. Their first home was in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where Frank taught at the Emperor’s Private Boys School. His most recent teaching position was at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville from 1982 until his retirement.
Frank and Marcene have four sons, Paul (Laurel) Eshelman, Elizabeth, Ill., Steven (Susan) Eshelman, Elmhurst, Ill., Mark (Carol) Eshelman, Fremont, Calif., and John (Anita) Eshelman, Lake George, Colo. They have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends.
