Carlisle and Merla Jacobi of Cuba City will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary on May 27, 2012, with a Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church followed by a family dinner at Timmerman's Supper Club.
Carlisle Jacobi and Merla Theill were married May 27, 1947, at Nativity BVM Church in Menominee, Ill.
Carlisle and Merla have four children: Mark of Dearborn, Mich., Karen of Madison, Steve (Carol) of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Mary Jo (David) Booth of Cuba City.
They have been blessed with six grandchildren: Nathan, Casey, Sheena, Tara, Adam and Kelly. They also have four great-grandchildren and two on the way.
