R. Douglas and Janet (Gutknecht) Morgan are celebrating 40 years of marriage. They were married on July 8, 1972 at Franksville United Methodist Church in Franksville.

They have four children: Jennifer (Dan) Becwar of Lancaster, Millie (Mike) Uppena of Potosi, Mary (Brent) Sheckler of Fennimore, and Annie (Beau) Buchs of Galena. They have nine grandchildren: Shelly Morgan, Evan Becwar, Austin, Logan, Aidan and Emma Uppena, and Ethan, Jackson and Adalyn Sheckler.

The Morgans will celebrate with their family in Galena. They are planning to take a trip this fall.
