Sherman and Lorene (Thompson) Peterson of Argyle will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary Oct. 26.
    Sherman and Lorene were married Oct. 26, 1974 at East Wiota Lutheran Church. The couple has one son and a daughter-in-law: Keith and JoAnn Peterson and two grandchildren: Wyatt and Elizabeth.
    The Petersons will celebrate their anniversary with an open house on Sunday, Oct. 26 in Argyle.
