Norbert and Bonnie (Edge) Pluemer were married on Dec. 21, 1963 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Platteville.
They are the proud parents of two  daughters, LaDonna (Tim) Leoffler, Wausau, and Amy (Randy) Brookens, Cuba City. They have three grandchildren.
They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary earlier this September with a trip through the Smokey Mountains and the surrounding states and sites.
They are celebrating with a private family dinner.
