Robert and Doris (Macke) Pitts were united in marriage on May 21, 1955, at the First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster.
Their children are Barb Testroete, Hingham, Steve (Lesa) Pitts, Middleton, Bill (Joyce) Pitts, Granada Hills, Calif., Kathy (Brian) Silverman, Bellevue, Wash., and Chris (Mark) Schlueter, Platteville.
They have seven grandchildren, Anneka Testroete, Janeen Pitts, Derek Pitts, Mitchell Silverman, Camille Silverman, Alex Schlueter and Megan Schlueter. They also have three great-grandchildren, Quinn, Lydia and Mikkah.
Robert and Doris Pitts will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a dessert reception at First English Lutheran Church in Platteville on June 28 from 1–4 p.m. Please no gifts, your presence is gift enough.
