Gilbert and Rachel Suthers are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on May 9. They were married on May 9, 1953.
    The couple has two sons: John (Melody) Suthers of McFarland and Terry (Mary Jane) Suthers of Monroe. They also have three grandsons, one step-grandson and seven great-grandchildren.
