Sunday, Aug. 18—Chris and Jessica Brownell of Platteville, a son, Cruz Christopher Brownell, 8 pounds 1 ounce, 21 inches long, born at 10:20 a.m. at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. He joins big sister Tenley Jo. Grandparents are Jim and Sharon Steines of Cuba City and Bill and Nancy Brownell of Cuba City. Cruz’s father is a scheduler at L&M Corrugated Container Corporation in Platteville and his mother is a graphic designer at Morris Newspapers in Lancaster.
