Nikolas and Kelliann Matteson announce the birth of their son, Nolan Reid Matteson, at 5:23 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 16 at Southwest Health in Platteville.
Nolan weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 21.5 inches long. He joins a brother, Grayson, 15 months.
Grandparents are Lori and Tommy Heath, Shullsburg, and Chrisann and Blake Foster, Fridley, Minn.
Great-grandparents are Diane and Kenny Hausken, Blaine, Minn., and Connie and the late Frank Novotney, Fridley, Minn.
Great-great-grandmother is Lorraine Dobberstein,  Fridley, Minn.
