Jodi Lynn Budden, Hazel Green, and Chad Michael Helbing, Platteville, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. The wedding ceremony will be at 1 p.m. on Nov. 4, 2017, at First English Lutheran Church in Platteville. A dinner and dance will follow at Holiday Gardens in Potosi.
Parents of the future bride are Ron Budden and the late Jane Marie Budden, Platteville. The parents of the future groom are Dennis and Deb Helbing, Platteville.
Jodi is a 2001 graduate of Platteville High School. She graduated from UW–Platteville in 2005 with a degree in elementary education. She is a Title One Reading teacher at Southwestern School District in Hazel Green.
Chad is a 2001 graduate of Platteville High School. He is a patrolman for the Grant County Highway Department.
