Mark Chambers and Sue Chambers of Darlington are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Melissa Chambers, to Ryan Schneider, the son of Roger Schneider of Albany and Maxine Meier of South Wayne.
    The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Darlington High School. She also graduated from Blackhawk Technical College and Capri College for certified nursing assistant and licensed massage therapist. Melissa is currently employed at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County and is the owner of Soulful Escapes Massage Therapy.
    The groom-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Black Hawk High School. Ryan is currently employed at Kuhn North America in Brodhead and is also the father of an 8-year-old daughter, Katie Schneider.
    The couple has planned a wedding for Oct. 26 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Darlington with a reception and dance to follow at The Sports Page in Belmont.
