Tom and Judy Friar, Lancaster, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Jane Friar, to Daniel James Glass, son of Jeff and Mary Glass, Cassville.
The future bride graduated from UW–Platteville with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is employed as the Staff Educator at Southwest Health in Platteville.
The future groom received a Bachelor of Science degree from UW–Madison and a Juris Doctor degree from Marquette University Law School. In January 2016, he became a partner of the Law Firm of Urban, Kussmaul, Muller & Glass, in Lancaster.
 The couple met in the spring of 2011 and became engaged on April 22, 2015.
A June 2016 wedding is planned to take place at the Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena, Ill. The couple resides in Lancaster with their chocolate lab, Daisy Duke.
