Karen Lange of Platteville and Jeremy Smith of Dubuque, Iowa announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Parents of the future bride are Richard and Patty Lange of Platteville. Parents of the future groom are Robert Smith and the late Susan Smith of Blue Grass, Iowa.
Karen earned a master’s degree in counselor education–higher education from UW–Platteville. She currently works at Herzing University in Madison as a career development specialist.
Jeremy studied at the University of Dubuque. He currently works at Northwesterm Mutual in Middleton as a financial representative.
The wedding ceremony will be at 2 p.m. on Aug. 25 at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City. A reception  will follow at 5 p.m. at the Belmont Convention Center. The dance will begin at 8 p.m.
