Kali Ann Risser of Darlington and Daniel Robert Downing of Fennimore, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
    The marriage ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 at the Grace Bible Cowboy Country Church in Mineral Point and a reception will follow at the Quality Inn in Mineral Point.
    Parents of the future bride are Pam and John Heimann of Darlington and the late Larry Risser. Granparents are Raymond and Betty Goebel of Darlington and Robert and Marge Risser of Apple River, Ill., all deceased.
    Parents of the future groom are Russ and Shelly Downing of Fennimore. Grandparents are Gaylord and Irene Downing of Janesville and Terry and April Bovenmyer of Reedspring, Mo.
    Kali graduated from Darlington High School in May 2007. She attended UW-Patteville and graduated in Dec. 2011 with a bachelor degree in animal science. She is currently employed with Associated Balance and Hearing Clinic in Boscobel as an audiologist assistant.
    Dan graduated from Fennimore High School in 2006, attended Southwest Technical College and graduated from there in 2008 with an ag. power and equipment mechanic degree. He is currently employed with Ritchie Implement in Cobb.
