The local Sheltered Reality inspirational drumline will perform Aug. 10 at 6:30 p.m.  to kick-off the annual vacation Bible school at Faith United Methodist Church, S3297 Salem Ridge, La Farge.

Sheltered Reality is a nonprofit musical organization whose performers span all ages. This non-denominational organization has teams in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Sheltered Reality believes that music can have meaning, and be  a blast at the same time.  The group performances use the power of percussion, as well as high energy choreography, to engage and then motivate audiences to realize that any person, at any age in life, can dream and succeed.
