Melissa Loeffelholtz and Joseph McCloskey were married Sept. 14, 2013 at The Gates of Heaven Chapel at James Madison Park with a dinner reception and dance following at the Crown Plaza in Madison.
Parents of the couple are David and Naida McKay, Overland Park, Kan., the late Donald Loeffelholtz, and the late James and Jean McCloskey, Madison.
Melissa wore a gown by Kansas City designer, Paula Varsalonna, with a waist-length veil trimmed in rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of roses and flowers in fall colors.
Her maids of honor, Delia Unson and Julie Schwarz, wore gowns of eggplant color with a jeweled waistline. Her personal attendant was Tricia Timmerman.
Best man was Joe Marks and groomsman was Darin Rought. Paul Loeffelholtz, brother of the bride, was the usher.
As people entered the chapel, music was played by Shawndell Marks and Chris Mittlesteadt. Friend of the groom, Rudy Wegert, performed the ceremony.
A honeymoon trip to Door County was enjoyed by the newlyweds and a trip to Ireland is planned in October.
Joey is self-employed and is also a musician. Melissa is a dental assistant with Dr. Loomis.
The newlyweds live in Madison.
