The Vernon County Cattlemen Association has scheduled their annual “Build a Better Beef” Meeting for Wednesday, April 6.  This year’s meeting location will be at the VFW Club in Viroqua.

The program will start at 6 p.m. with the “Build Your Burger Bar” dinner sponsored by Chaseburg Farmers Cooperative.
The meal will be followed by a brief annual meeting of the Cattlemen membership attending at 7 p.m.

The meeting is open to any interested cattle producer.  You do not have to be a member to attend.

There is no registration fee for Vernon County Cattlemen members.  The registration fee for non-members will be $5 payable at the door. In order to get an accurate meal count, people planning to attend are strongly urged to call in the number attending to the Vernon County UW-Extension Office at 637-5276 by the end of the day on Friday, April 1.

The VFW Club is located at 751 South Washington Ave. in Viroqua.
