The Greater Richland Area Cancer Elimination (GRACE), Inc. just wrapped up its 20th Annual Walk With GRACE. The grand total for this year has topped all previous years. One of the many fundraisers each year, that has been a huge help with donations to GRACE, has been Amy Bindl’s Flower Sales. Amy has been quietly working away for the last 9 years to accomplish some amazing achievements. The public would witness the work twice a year, in the May – June timeframe and the September – October timeframe. What they didn’t see was all the work and effort that went into the preparation for the spring and fall sales. Bindl has personally devoted countless hours of work and energy into selling spring flower baskets and fall mums to raise funds that she donated to GRACE. Amy really wanted to do something extra special to help for the 20th year. She exceeded her personal goal and raised $25,579.50 to donate to GRACE for their 20th year and her 9th year. Over the last 9 years, Amy has raised over $89,000 from her flower sales to donate to GRACE. If you see Amy, congratulate her on this outstanding achievement.
With most major accomplishments, there are typically many people involved and Amy would like to also thank all of those who helped her over the last 9 years. Amy would also like to thank all the people that purchased the flower baskets in the spring and fall.
