Benvenuto’s Italian Grill opened its second franchise location at 1621 Progressive Parkway, Platteville, June 18.

Benvenuto’s Italian Grill has four company stores located in Oshkosh, Beaver Dam, Madison, and Fitchburg, and the first franchise location in Middleton.

“Benvenuto’s has a philosophy of great food for a great value,” said owner/operator Julie Klein. “All the sauces and soups are made daily from scratch, as well as our famous meatballs. The Platteville Benvenuto’s team is trained and ready to serve the best food and give the best service to every individual that chooses to dine here.”

Benvenuto’s opened its doors June 17 with a fundraiser night in which all of the proceeds went to support Southwest Opportunities Center.

“We are very exited to have Platteville as our second franchise location,” said Brian Dominick, owner and president of Benvenuto’s Italian Grill. “They have a great local owner/operator who is looking forward to giving that community a wonderful place to dine and hang out.”

Benvenuto’s offers everything from signature wood-fired pizzas, calzones and pastas to aged steak dinners, a fresh never-frozen catch of the day or entrée salads. Benvenuto’s sells 23-ounce domestic tap beers for $2.75 every day.
