The Platteville High School Scholarship Fund, in cooperation with Kwik Trip Inc and the Platteville Kwik Trip, is promoting a special program that provides everyone with the opportunity to raise money for scholarships as a part of one’s daily business.

“Because our mission at Kwik Trip is to make a difference in the lives of others, we are committed to helping our local communities, especially in the area of education,” said John McHugh, manager of Corporate Communications at Kwik Trip.

“We are proud to partner with the PHS Scholarship Fund as they work to increase the number and level of scholarships available to PHS graduates.”

The PHS Scholarship Fund is offering gift cards of $25, $50 and $100 to use for gas and other purchases at all Kwik Trip and Kwik Star locations. Other amounts can be special-ordered.

Those that purchase gift cards receive the full value in goods when the gift card is used. Kwik Trip donates a portion of the monies for each gift card sold to the PHS Scholarship Fund.

The PHS Scholarship Fund is dedicated to raising monies to provide scholarships for Platteville High School graduating seniors.

“This gift card partnership with Kwik Trip is an excellent way for everyone in the district and those with ties to our high school to be a part of the PHS Scholarship initiative and to provide needed scholarships to our graduates,” said Jeff Jacobson, PHS principal.

Since the start of gift card sales in January, more than $4,000 has been raised for scholarships for PHS graduating seniors.
