At the next Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club meeting on March 9, Carolyn and Brian Austin of Austin’s Rush Creek Farm near Ferryville will discuss growing a business based on their motto of “Do what you say, say what you do.”

Hear the lessons they learned as they developed an on-farm business growing, making and selling pickled vegetable products, jams, and jellies. Topics include what worked and what didn’t, risk management, food safety issues and helpful resources.

The meeting will be held at the Food Enterprise Center, 1201 North Main St., Viroqua. Networking starts at 5:30 p.m.; the program begins at 6 pm.

The I&E club is organized jointly by Vernon Economic Development Association and Viroqua Chamber Main Street.
