ManorCare hires admission director

Employees of ManorCare in Platteville wore red Feb. 1 in support of the 10th annual National Wear Red Day, to raise awareness of heart disease in women.

 ManorCare Health Services Platteville hired Shannon Haskell as its new Admissions Director.

Haskell is from Clinton, Iowa, and has a background in mental health, business development, and marketing. He graduated from Ashford University in 2006, with a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and later returned to Ashford to obtain a Masters in Organization Management in 2012.

The Admissions Director will be highly involved in the community developing partnerships, providing education about ManorCare’s services, as well as managing the admissions process.

Haskell served as a board member for the Council of Social Agencies, developed Clinton’s first underage drinking and marijuana task-force/coalition, was a part of several community campaigns, and served as a big brother for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
