The Platteville Development Group is donating $5,001 toward the Platteville Community Arboretum’s “3 for $100K” project.

“PCA is rapidly gaining the necessary funds to meet the City of Platteville’s challenge match grant award of $50,000 to PCA for needed improvements to the Rountree Branch recreational trail including a bridge replacement and elimination of steps to make the trail more accessible to individuals with disabilities, strollers and bikes,” said Kris Wright, Platteville Community Arboretum director. “Jim Schneller and his Platteville Development Group have long been significant contributors to PCA and they have done it yet again with a $5,001 donation to this project.”

“Jim and his PDG partners have always been there to help when needed.  They care about improving Platteville.” said Gene Weber, PCA director.

“Our PDG team has long appreciated the efforts of the PCA group and support their drive to improve the trail, stream and local environment,” said Schneller. “We have deeded land to PCA in the past and intend to provide additional land to them to provide greater trail access.  We understand that our $5,001 contribution will bring them to within $4,000 of achieving their city challenge of $50,000 in matching funds.”
