The Potosi/Tennyson Chamber of Commerce will hold the fourth annual Back Home for Christmas Saturday, Nov. 17 at 9 a.m.

Back in 2008, Bill and Mary Uppena, owners of Country Field and Country Floral, started Back Home for Christmas to thank local and surrounding area residences for their support. When the Upeenas closed their shop, the chamber continued their tradition.

Crafts will be available at various locations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Santa will arrive in style with a fire truck and travel in a horse-drawn wagon/buggy to the Library for story time at 9:30 a.m. He will then travel to Holiday Gardens for a visit at 10 a.m. and will be at the old Brunner store at 1 p.m.

Cookies will again be available at the Passage Thru Time Museum as well as other treats in various locations.  A Christmas Wreath decorating demonstration will be held at the Potosi Inn at 3:30 p.m.

New this year will be Christmas trees donated by local businesses for sale through a silent auction on display at the old Brunner store and recipe cards will be available at participating businesses. The annual tree lighting with caroling will be at 6 p.m., with hot chocolate afterward.
