PLATTEVILLE — Two people were arrested after a report of a theft in Platteville early Friday morning.

A man told Platteville police his wallet was stolen from his locked car parked at 90 W. Gridley Ave. Friday overnight, and the credit cards inside the wallet had been used.

After investigating, police arrested Lynden M. McCormick, 23, Dolton, Ill., for possession of marijuana, theft, criminal damage to property and possession of burglarious tools.

Police also arrested Tyeshia Marie Griffin Thompson, 21, Platteville, on warrants from Platteville and Grant County.

Charges against McCormick are pending.
