Platteville police cited nine people for alcohol-related ordinance violations in two nights hours.Four of them came in a group of six people at Hickory Drive and Pine Street Friday at 9:50 p.m.

Garrett T. Riggs, 18, Burlington, was cited for underage drinking and resisting an officer. Samuel James Klein, 18, and Tyler J. Vorpahl, 19, both of Platteville, were cited for underage drinking. Bryan Douglas Gerber, 28, St. Paul, Minn., was cited for open intoxicants.

Joseph W. Kruschke, 23, Brillion, was cited for open intoxicants at Market and Elm streets Friday around 10:15 p.m.

Jared R. Gohlke, 20, Platteville, was cited for underage drinking at Main Street and Center Street Friday around 10:50 p.m. Police saw Gohlke putting something under his shirt; police said his backpack contained a bottle of vodka and an Arnold Palmer mixed drink.

Matthew P. Ducharme, 27, Channahon, Ill., was cited for open intoxicants at 555 N. Chestnut St. Saturday at 10:15 p.m.

Alyssa M. Naeve, 18, and Sarah L. Promenschenkel, 19, both of Platteville, were cited for underage drinking and resisting an officer in Rountree Commons Sunday at 1:34 a.m.
