The man accused of robbing Domino’s Pizza in Platteville will be arraigned in Grant County Circuit Court in Lancaster Friday morning.

Ryan J. Barthel, 39, Madison, waived his preliminary hearing on a charge of armed robbery Jan. 6, according to court records.

Employees of Dominos Pizza, 490 E. Business 151, employees told Platteville police that Dec. 19 around 2:15 a.m. a man with his face painted black and armed with a knife robbed the store of cash and left in a dark-colored vehicle east on Business 151.

Barthel was arrested in Mineral Point later that morning.

Barthel is free on $5,000 cash bond. He faces up to 40 years in prison if convicted.
