A 32-year-old Belmont man pleaded not guilty to three felony drug charges in Lafayette County Circuit Court in Darlington stemming from an arrest in September.

Mitchell R. Engebretson faces charges of intentional disposal of methamphetamine manufacturing waste, manufacture or delivery of up to 3 grams of methamphetamine, and possession of methamphetamine.

Engebretson waived his preliminary hearing Oct. 8, according to court records, and pleaded not guilty to the charges. A status conference is scheduled for Dec. 1.

Engebretson is in the Lafayette County Jail according to online court records.
