Angela Ziegler, 29, Gays Mills, was arrested in connection with the discovery of equipment and the necessary chemicals for the manufacture of methamphetamine in a Wauzeka home on Monday, Sept. 19.

A large number of other drug-related items were also seized, according to Crawford County Sheriff Dale McCullick.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department aided by the Prairie du Chien Police Department and the Wisconsin Department of Justice executed a search warrant at 303 E. Front St. in the Village of Wauzeka.

Bay West Inc., a hazardous waste clean-up service from St. Paul, responded to the scene and removed all the hazardous waste and materials.

Lukas Pitzer, 25, a Wauzeka resident wanted in connection with the case for the manufacture of methamphetamine, has turned himself into authorities. Both Ziegler and Pitzer were released on signature bonds.

Also assisting at the scene were the Wauzeka Fire Department, Wauzeka First Responders, Crawford County Public Health and the Boscobel EMS.
