The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Monroe Police Department as part of a joint emergency response team (ERT), executed a search warrant at a residence in Benton Township on Monday, Nov. 17, during which products used in the manufacture of methamphetamine were discovered and three individuals were arrested.
As a result of the search warrant, Haleigh S. Stocks, 23, of Highland; Brandon A. Loken, 25, of Platteville and Garrett S. Lipshutz, 34, of Lancaster were all arrested and have been tentatively charged as parties to the crimes of Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Disposal of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Waste, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine Paraphernalia, according to a press release from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.
Stocks was wanted on a warrant from Grant County, and Loken was wanted on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections probation hold, noted the press release.
The location where the search warrant was conducted was the residence of Christopher K. Bennett, 38. According to the press release, Bennett had been previously arrested by Lafayette County deputies on Wednesday, Nov. 12 in connection with a felony battery investigation and was being held at the Lafayette County Jail at the time of the search. Bennett is still in custody at Lafayette County Jail.
The press release stated that Lafayette County detectives are continuing the investigation into this matter.
