Triple murder reported in Lafayette County

TOWN OF WAYNE -- The suspect of in a triple murder has been found in an apartment complex in Waukesha, along with the truck owned by one of the victims, it was reported Sunday evening.

Sunday morning at 9:53 a.m. a relative of a person living at a home along Phillipine Road in the Town of Wayne called the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department reporting they found a dead body in the home. Sheriff’s deputies discovered two additional dead bodies in the house.

The sheriff’s department stated in their initial release that the suspect was likely in southeastern Wisconsin. The sheriff’s department is looking for a blue 1998 Ford F-150 pickup truck with a blue topper. That truck was found in the apartment complex the suspect was found in.

The three victims have not been positively identified. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s department, 776-4870.
