Woman issued four citations after tavern check

A 20-year-old Lena, Ill., woman faces four charges after she was arrested during a tavern check early Friday morning.

Morgan Werkheiser faces citations for resisting or obstructing an officer, underage drinking on a licensed premise, ID card violations and underage drinking.

Werkheiser was arrested at Second Street and East Mineral Street around 12:55 a.m.

•         A 19-year-old Platteville man was cited for second-offense underage drinking March 9.

Mitchell J. Langkamp was seen by a UW–Platteville police officer “staggering behind two females on the sidewalk” near Ullsvik Hall around 1:45 a.m. Langkamp was then seen trying to open a locked door, fleeing when an officer came up to him, according to UWP police.

•         Emily Mae Hoehne, 18, Lancaster, was cited for underage drinking after a traffic stop at Chestnut Street and Furnace Street Saturday around 12:05 a.m.

•         Alec J. Malisheski, 18, of Illinois, was cited by UW–Platteville police for first-offense underage drinking on the UWP Mall near Karrman Library Saturday around 12:05 a.m.
