BHS celebrating Homecoming this week

Next week is Homecoming in the Boscobel Area School District.

Homecoming 2015 will be Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3.  Events will begin with the Homecoming Parade through downtown at 2:30 p.m. with the game that evening against the Riverdale Chieftains.

The Homecoming Dance will be 8 p.m.-12 midnight at the High School Gym on Saturday, October 3.  Music will be by DJ 3Beat. The 2015 Homecoming Theme isCity Skyline.’           

The class representatives for this year’s Homecoming Court are: Freshman Representatives - Abigail Manning and Erik Ward; Sophomore Representatives - Ariel Rooney and Jack Latham; Junior Representatives - Allie Pickett and Dallas Marks; Senior Representatives - Samantha Manning and Treston Davidson; and Homecoming Queen & King - Miranda Beinborn and Chase Kull.

The Grand March will begin at 8:30 p.m., when the King, Queen and the court will be presented. 

Admission is $5 per person for students. 

“A Good Night Policy” will be in effect for the evening.  Once students enter the dance, they will not be allowed to leave and return unless school personnel escort them.  Spectators ($3 each) may attend until the Grand March and court pictures are completed.

School spirit will be on display in the High School and Middle School hallways are students participate in Dress-up Days.

Monday:  Pageant/Suit Day

Tuesday: Class Color Day: Seniors – Green; Juniors – Blue; Sophomores – Orange; Freshmen – Purple; 8th grade – Yellow; and 7th grade – Pink

Wednesday:  Hill Billy Day

Thursday:  Squad Day (groups of 2 or more dress as a theme)

Friday:  Red And White Day

All alumni and community members are cordially invited to attend Friday and Saturday’s events.
