On Saturday, May 7, the Boscobel Junior Class will host Prom 2016 at Boscobel High School.  The dance will begin at 8:00 p.m. and conclude at 12:00 a.m.

The Grand March will be held at 8:30 p.m.  Please note the change in time from previous years!

DJ Slam, Stewart Slaman of Ultimate Entertainment, will provide music, and Penny and Duane Leeser will take photographs.

All Boscobel freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors are welcome to attend this event and are asked to dress appropriately.  As stated in the Boscobel Middle/High School Student Handbook, semi-formal or formal attire is expected.  This means dresses, skirts, dress slacks, blouses, or sweaters for the girls and tuxedos, dress slacks, dress button-down shirts, or dress sweaters for the boys.

Students from other schools or former Boscobel graduates who plan to accompany a Boscobel High School student to the dance must be registered and approved at the high school office at least three days in advance of the dance.  Forms are available at the high school office.

Also, per the Boscobel Middle/High School Student Handbook, junior high students are not permitted to participate in Prom activities unless they are attending as a spectator.

The cost for participating in the dance is $10 for couples and $5 for singles.  Also, according to the Boscobel Middle/High School Student Handbook, all BHS dances have a closed-door policy.  Once a student leaves the dance, he/she is not allowed to re-enter the dance.

Spectator prices are $3 per person at the door.  Boscobel High School students will not be admitted at spectator prices.  Spectators may do so only from 8 p.m. through the Grand March.
