Boscobel School Board addresses personnel needs

The Boscobel School Board took a different approach to running the meeting at their Tuesday, July 19 meeting by beginning with closed session discussions. The decision resulted in the board ready to approve multiple hires, and a decision to take no action on a request to renegotiate a contract of an employee not named when they convened in open session.

Special education positions were offered to Chelsea Beinborn and Denise Thompson; Carol Roth was hired as the Food Service Director at a salary of $50,000, with Roth agreeing to waive insurance and retirement benefits; and Cindy Albrecht was hired as the English teacher at a salary of $51,590.

Also approved was a raise for bus drivers. The route rate was raised by $2 to $28 per bus route...
