The Lancaster and Potosi school districts will be hosting a pair of events for the community this week.

Lancaster Student Art Show

Please celebrate the wonderful creations done by our Lancaster School District art students, in a fine exhibition at the Cedar House, 126 S. Madison St. in Lancaster. All community members are invited to a special reception to honor the artists whose work is on display!  This artist reception will be from 3:30 – 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday, March 19. 

Please bring your camera and plan to photograph our young artists at their first opening reception!  The gallery will be open the remainder of the week after school until 6 p.m.. It will also be open Saturday March 23 during and after the Bunny Hop event on the square.

Potosi Wellness Fair

Potosi School District will be holding its 3rd Annual Wellness Fair on Tuesday, March 19th, 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Potosi Public School.  This year’s wellness fair will also be a food drive for the Lancaster Food Pantry.  Participants are asked to bring a nonperishable food item and will be entered into a drawing for a door prize. 

The wellness fair will have a variety of informational booths, as well as presentations.  Partipants can learn about writing wills, feeding a picky eater or try Zumba or Yoga. (Comfortable clothing encouraged.) There will be free screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, hearing and bone density. Come and learn about reiki, reflexology, or relax with a quick chair massage. 

Author, Julie Stephenson, of Super Snacks for Super Kids will have books to pre-order!
