Le nouvelle monde
Reenactment wood

The 16th annual Historic Reenactment was held at Mound View Park last weekend. More than 1,000 school students saw demonstrations of 18th- and 19th-century America, including French-language maps of “Nouvelle France,” the midwestern U.S. Events included demonstrations of trades and the military, story-telling, music and an interactive clothing demonstration. The Historic Reenactment is put on by the Rollo Jamison and Mining museums and the Platteville Area Chamber of Commerce.
