The Platteville Development Group presented a $1,000 scholarship to the PHS Scholarship Fund.

“I recently became aware that the average debt of a Wisconsin student upon graduation is $28,000,” said Jim Schneller, president of the Platteville Development Group. “It is important that we in the community help fund scholarships to encourage our youth to go on to school and to help student limit the amount of debt they incur.”

”This PDG scholarship requires a challenge match — Jim’s way of encouraging others to contribute to the PHS Scholarship Fund,” said Zehra Muslu of the PHS Scholarship Fund.

The PHS Scholarship Fund is affiliated with the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, a tax exempt 501(c)(3) public charity.
