Report card shows Boscobel Schools Exceed Expectations
BAS report card

It was good news for the Boscobel School District with the recent release of the K-12 school and district report cards by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. The report card shows a 2015-2016 school year overall score for the district of 76.3, which is an “Exceeds Expectation” score.

“Part of the score is for achievement and some of it is value added scores added to reflect efforts to close the student achievement gap,” said District Administrator Greg Bell. “I am certainly happy that we meet or exceed expectations (at each of the schools) and that as a district we exceed on all levels.”

The district overall scores in student growth in mathematic and English language arts, reduction of student gaps, and on-track and postsecondary readiness all exceeded the state average scores, while mathematic and English language achievements were lower.
