The pending referendum vote was again a major topic for the Riverdale School Board at their regular monthly meeting Tuesday.

District Administrator Bryce Bird told the board he plans to arrange three information meetings – one in Avoca, one in Muscoda, and one in Blue River – for the month of March.

Discussion of availability of board members to attend narrowed the dates to the week of March 13.

“I need input for frequently asked questions,” Bird informed the board.

He explained that while he is trying to make explanations for the need for an operational referendum simple and clear, the issue is actually somewhat complicated and board participation would help ensure he delivered the district message clearly and effectively.
