Bands help hospital raise funds at Band-Aid 7

    Band Aid 7 was deemed a success by the Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County Auxiliary. The fundraiser where several area bands performed on Friday night, Feb. 12.
    According to Sue Paquette, community outreach director for the hospital, over 140 people attended the event and a rough figure of $3,000 was raised, which will go towards the the completion of the ER landscaping project.
    Doors opened for the event at 4 p.m. at Bridges Banquet Center in Darlington. Tom Black emceed the event and the night’s lineup consisted of South 40 Band, Fever River String Band, Sunshine and Transition.
