The public is invited to attend the January meeting of the Lyme disease support group for residents of Juneau, Monroe, Richland, Sauk and Vernon counties from 6:30-8 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Hillsboro Public Library meeting room, 819 High Ave., Hillsboro.
Sick people usually want to feel better. Good health is built one day at a time. God bless your efforts to sort through what is needed to achieve this goal realistically.
We make available a table of free information and articles pertaining to the various insect vector-borne illnesses (IVBI) such as Lyme disease, babesia, bartonella - what they are and how to treat them. This printed information can be browsed and/or taken home.
Whether you chose to treat IVBI with antibiotics, herbally, or other alternative treatments, it is helpful and healthful to know what works against treatment efforts.
Natural health advocate Brenda Cosentino blogged at realfoodrebel.com in December of “Ten Reasons You Can’t Get Rid of Lyme Disease, Parasites, Candida, and Other Co-Infections”:
• A diet dominated by processed foods and sugars;
• Food allergies;
• Amalgam dental fillings;
• Drugs which destroy your human microbiome;
• Untreated chronic co-infections;
• Mineral deficiencies;
• Inconsistently or inadequately treating insect vector-borne illnesses;
• Personal care products which poison your system;
• Environmental toxins in your home and community;
• Wallowing in self-pity.
