Corvette owners coming through area

An expected 200 to 300 owners of Chevrolet Corvettes from the Chicago area will be touring Southwest Wisconsin on their annual Fall Color Run Oct. 9–11.

Members of the North Shore Corvette Club will be driving their Corvettes from Chicago to Rockford and then Dickeyville, where they will be touring the Dickeyville Grotto, before driving up U.S. 61 to La Crosse, Friday, Oct. 9. On Saturday, Oct. 10, the Corvette owners will drive through the Hidden Valley area, stopping in Richland Center for lunch before looping back to La Crosse.

The group will be staying at the Quality Inn La Crosse.

The itinerary Sunday, Oct. 11 includes a stop at the Sunrise Apple Orchard in Gays Mills before returning through Madison to the Chicago area.
