in Soldiers Grove

It’s ‘Critter Science’ with the Soldiers Grove Public Library and Dan Nederlo (a.k.a. the reptile guy) on Thursday, July 10.

While this is part of the summer reading program for kids, Dan’s informative presentations are fun for all ages.

The program will be held at the Peterson Memorial Park on Sunbeam Boulevard by the creek behind Burkum Milling Company at 10 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Kids who keep track of the time they spend reading are eligible to enter the weekly drawings in July to win a hand-painted t-shirt. The shirts are designed and painted by Mz. Gilbert.

Drawings are being held each Thursday morning in July. Pickup a timesheet at the library and start reading!
