Darlington hosts another successful Canoe Festival

    There were several competitions and contests held throughout the Darlington Canoe Festival weekend from June 12-14. Following are the results of some of those contests:
Raffle ticket winners
    The several Canoe Festival raffle ticket winners were announced on Sunday, June 14. A list of winners follows below:

    Winners of the talent show at the 2015 Darlington Canoe Festival included the following:

    Junior division: 1st—Madyson King & Ellie Hemming-vocal duet, 2nd—Sophie Wiegel on the piano & Grace Wiegel-vocal duet, 3rd—Reagan Russell-vocal solo, 4th—Madyson King-vocal solo.     
    Senior division: 1st—Rose & Rebekah Bendorf-vocal duet, 2nd—Maggie & Clara Bahr-vocal duet, 3rd—Sadie Fitzsimmons-vocal solo, 4th—Levi Kasten, Colin Austin & Dawson Howell-band.
